League of Women Voters of Texas's Voters Guide is highly respected as the gold standard for nonpartisan, trusted voter information. The Texas League's Voters Guide is available now online in two formats -- as a
printable document on
www.LWVTexas.org and on
VOTE411.org, the League of Women Voters' interactive Voters Guide. The League of Women Voters has been a nonpartisan grassroots voter education organization for over 100 years. The League never supports or opposes any political party or candidate for elected office.
Everything a Texas voter needs to know about voting in the 2020 General Election is on the
League webpage and
VOTE411.org . This includes information on national and state candidates, and in
areas where there is a local League, on local candidates as well. In
VOTE411.org, voters enter their address to create a personalized sample ballot to take with them to the polls. Use of phones is not allowed in Texas voting booths, but a voter may take their own notes and printed material into the polling booth.

There are
34 local Leagues in Texas, all led and run by grassroots volunteers -- women, and men, of all ages and backgrounds. Local Leagues register voters, organize their local Voters Guides, recruit poll workers, host candidate forums and educational events on issues of local interest. The Texas League and local Leagues provide free print Voters Guides to every county in Texas with a population over 15,000. The League is also distributing bookmarks with VOTE411.org and voting information to various libraries, since many have limited hours and only drive-by services due to the COVID 19 pandemic.
