We need to keep the pressure on. Your voice matters! Contacting your legislators is important. They pay attention to their constituents.

You can also send aLetter to the Editor on the League's Take Action Center.
After you have sent your email to your legislators, there is an option to compose a Letter to the Editor. Click and follow the directions. You may also send a Letter to the Editor of your community newspapers by choosing Media on the front page of the Take Action Center. We will post sample letters in the Capitol Action Report to get you started. League advocates around the state have already had their letters posted in their local papers!

Thank you for your commitment to Texans casting our ballots freely, safely, and equally!
New Action Alert!

Tell your legislator that you support a vote by mail process that is easily accessible to those who need it. Imposing more restrictions on vote by mail was the aim of several bills introduced during the regular session - these restrictions are likely to reappear during the special session.
