The House Redistricting Committee will be holding a hearing on their map on Wednesday, March 5th at 8:00 AM CST. You can find the hearing notice here.
While the House has said that they will be "ratifying" the exact same map that was passed last session, we do not know if legislators plan to offer any new amendments (changes) to the map. In order to be prepared for all scenarios, please plan to resubmit the redistricting testimony that you provided last session on the House map.

- Virtual testimony will be permitted, but registration for virtual testimony will close on Tuesday, April 4th at 8:00 AM CST. You can register to provide virtual testimony here.

- Remember, this time around we have an advantage. We know what is wrong with the map, and we also can describe the procedural problems that we saw when the map was passed in 2021.
- We also know how the current map has performed, and we can look at how new elected officials are representing the needs of our communities. Please be sure to note any legislation that has been filed that would negatively impact communities of color in your district.
